Why I Built HomeRidge Studio
I didn’t set out to build a brand—I set out to survive.
HomeRidge Studio was born from heartbreak, exhaustion, and the quiet refusal to settle for less than dignity. After fleeing a home that became unlivable, navigating frozen funds, and caring for my father and three dogs in temporary shelter, I realized something: the systems we’re told to trust often fail us.
But clarity? That’s something we can build.
This space is for anyone who’s ever had to start over. It’s for the ones who’ve read closing disclosures through tears, who’ve patched walls with borrowed tools, who’ve fought for fairness when no one was watching.
Memoir Moments will hold the stories behind the strategy—the raw truths, the quiet wins, and the lessons I’m still learning.
If you’re here, you’re not alone. And if you’re rebuilding, you’re already brave.
This is the first post in my Memoir Moments series. If it resonates, I’d love to hear from you in the comments. Let’s build clarity together.
